Web5 was better in a couple of ways, the weapon wheel was much better for smooth combat, throwable melee weapons was fun, the skill tree made you more powerful overall than the gear system in 6. There were some great horror sequences too and memorable villains. The arcade/multiplayer was cool and the level creation tool was pretty powerful. It’s so vanilla in its story stance that it can’t say anything. 6 is like a breath of fresh air in terms of being free of tedious garbage started from 3 and continued in 4 and 5.
