If you continue a little further down what I will generously call a “path,” you come to the end point of the trail, Sky Pond. To be entirely honest, they’re both spectacular, so I won’t beat myself up too much for only making it to Glass Lake the first time. Webb17 juni 2024 · I personally thought the steep incline below Sky Pond was easier in the winter because there is no need to climb up a waterfall on slippery rocks. Also, we missed being able to walk directly across the frozen lakes and rejoin the trail. Most people (myself included) think they have reached Sky Pond when they see the Lake of Glass. Nope, not there yet! You must hike further! (I promise it’s worth it!)
